About
Locally owned and operated, Arthur's has been helping home owners.
Hiring a builder or contractor
Never pay a large deposit up front, and get everything in writing. Staged payments tied to finished work protect both sides.
What to check
- Licensed and insured for the work
- Recent jobs you can see or references to call
- A written, itemised quote and contract
- Payments linked to stages of the work
Questions to ask
- Who manages the site and the trades?
- How are changes and extras priced?
- What warranty do you provide?
