Know which post brought each visitor

Add UTM tags to any link in seconds, or make the same campaign link for eight channels at once. Values are cleaned so your Google Analytics reports stay tidy.

You get

A tagged link, one link per channel in a table, and checks that catch the mistakes that split your reports.

Printing it? Turn the link into a code with the QR code generator.

Quick fill

Which value goes where?
  • Source: the site or list the click comes from (linkedin, newsletter, google).
  • Medium: the kind of traffic. GA4 only files a visit under Organic Social or Email when the medium is one it knows, such as social, email or cpc.
  • Campaign: one name per push, so you can compare them.
  • Content: tells two links in the same post or email apart (header vs button).
  • Never tag links between your own pages. It starts a new session and wipes the real source.

Your tagged link

Paste your page address and fill in source, medium and campaign to get a link Google Analytics can track.

Same campaign, several channels

Free, no sign-up, nothing stored. Values are lower-cased and spaces turned into dashes so your reports stay clean.

Why tag links

Without tags, a LinkedIn post and a WhatsApp forward both look like Direct traffic.

Apps and emails often strip the referrer, so Google Analytics cannot tell where a click came from. UTM tags carry the source inside the link itself, and GA files the visit under the right channel.

What are UTM parameters?
Five tags added to the end of a link: utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term and utm_content. Google Analytics reads them when someone clicks and reports the visit under that source and campaign.
Which ones are required?
Source, medium and campaign. Term and content are optional: term for paid keywords, content to tell two links in the same post or email apart.
Why does my traffic still show as (not set) or Unassigned?
Usually the medium is one GA4 does not recognise. Use standard values like social, email, cpc, referral or qr, and keep them lower case.
Should I tag links between my own pages?
No. A UTM tag on an internal link starts a new session and overwrites where the visitor really came from.
