Platforms

Content pillars (themes you rotate)

Pick at least one platform and one content pillar.

Posting the same idea on two platforms? Check the length and image size for each with the post checker and the image resizer. Nothing you type is stored.

Planning, briefly

Consistency beats inspiration.

Accounts that post on a steady rhythm grow faster than ones that post in bursts. Rotating four or five themes keeps the feed varied, so followers get tips, stories and offers rather than a stream of sales posts.

How often should a small business post on social media?
Three times a week on one or two platforms is a good, sustainable start. It is better to keep a steady rhythm than to post daily for two weeks and then stop.
What are content pillars?
The four to six themes you rotate, such as tips, behind the scenes, customer stories and offers. They keep your feed varied and make it easier to think of the next post.
How do I open the calendar in Excel or Google Sheets?
Click Download CSV. Excel opens it directly. In Google Sheets choose File, then Import, then Upload. The Status column is there to mark posts as done.
Can I post the same idea on several platforms?
Yes, but adapt it: shorter text for X, a video for TikTok and Instagram Reels, a more professional angle for LinkedIn.
