About
Renting a car
The daily rate is rarely the full price. Insurance excess, fuel policy and mileage limits decide what you actually pay.
What to check
- Insurance included and the excess you would pay
- Fuel policy: full-to-full is usually cheapest
- Mileage limits and fees for extra drivers
- Deposit amount held on your card
Questions to ask
- What is the total price with all fees?
- What should I do if the car is damaged?
- Can I return it to a different location?
