Choosing a beauty salon or therapist
For treatments that touch skin, eyes or hair, hygiene and training matter as much as the result. Ask about both before booking.
What to check
- Therapists are trained and certified for the treatment
- Patch tests offered before colour or chemical treatments
- Clean, single-use or sterilised tools
- Clear prices for the full treatment
Questions to ask
- Who will do my treatment, and how experienced are they?
- Is there anything I should do or avoid before and after?
- What is your cancellation policy?
