Getting help with licences and permits
Many permits can be applied for directly with the issuing office. If you use an agent, know what they do and what the official fees are.
What to check
- Which permits your business actually needs
- Official fees versus the agent's service fee
- Experience with your type of permit
- Timeline and what can delay it
Questions to ask
- Can I apply directly myself?
- What is your fee on top of official charges?
- What if my application is refused?
